Patients Ditching Zestril and Norvasc for Natural Blood Pressure Cure

Dan Collins, a retired railway engineer, threw six medications in the trash after starting the natural blood pressure cure discovered by Austin-based medical researcher, Dr. Marlene Merritt.

“My wife was terrified,” Collins says, “fearing I’d suffer a stroke. But then she saw my blood pressure drop from a dangerous 200/100 to a healthy 115/75 in just one week! It’s like a miracle.”

Dr Merritt says, “This natural solution comes none too soon for millions who can’t tolerate the harsh side effects of antihypertensive drugs, or who don’t want to run the risks.”

Zestril, Norvasc, Toprol XL and other BP drugs are known to cause headache, fatigue, dizziness, depression, upset stomach, diarrhea, and itchy, tingling hot skin.

Lisinopril, sold as Prinopril and Zestril, has also been linked to liver damage. And Amlodipine, sold as Norvasc, can cause hair loss, impotence, and a feeling of being “disconnected from the world.”

Dr. Merritt says, “Unfortunately, many of these antihypertensives are combined to achieve the target numbers, only to pile side effects on top of side effects.”

What many people don’t know is that drugs aren’t the only option, and in fact can be a poor substitute for an all-natural solution that makes you feel energetic, rather than fatigued and sickly.

So, how does Dr. Merritt’s blood pressure cure work?

She eliminates a few foods, adds other foods that concentrate blood pressure-lowering macronutrients, and employs stress-reducing exercises that anyone can do at home without special equipment.

The diet isn’t particularly restrictive, but it does eliminate packaged foods labeled “heart healthy” which Dr. Merritt calls false advertising.

“Most of those foods -- with their processed sodium, vegetable fats and inflammatory chemicals -- can actually cause high blood pressure and heart disease,” she says.

“There’s a misconception about salt and animal fats, too. They’re perfectly fine if unprocessed,” she says. “My patients eat steak, real butter, and organic sea salt.”

To inform as many people as possible, including doctors who are still prescribing outdated treatments, Dr. Merritt has partnered with the independent health publisher, Primal Health, on a video presentation of her solution.

“The response has been incredible,” Dr. Merritt says.

She does caution to only go off medications under the supervision of a doctor or qualified healthcare professional. “But there’s no question we’re seeing extremely positive results. This is helping a lot of people.”
